  1. I think the new films will definately be a billion times better than the last 3 films. Im sure JJ Abrams realizes most people if not the entire population of planet earth thought the last 3 movies were really lame, and so he will do his best to create amazing sequels. I just hope they will use real special effects instead of going completely cgi for the space battles...the last thing I want is a movie that looks like Transformers!! LOL!
  2. "What many suspected was coming has indeed happened: Microsoft just confirmed an upcoming Xbox event on May 21st, which we expect to be focused on the company's next-gen Xbox console (informally codenamed Durango). The company isn't diving into specifics at this stage, but the event is taking place on its own Xbox campus and should offer a "real taste of the future," according to Xbox Live programming director Larry Hryb. Don't worry too much that Microsoft will completely upstage E3, which happens just a few weeks later -- Hryb also promises that his firm will "continue the conversation" at the show, focusing attention on its game lineup. Players will have a chance to stream the event through both Microsoft's services (including Xbox Live) and Spike TV, but you can be sure we'll be on the ground to share the news first-hand." 4. "While the talks for Heroes are still said to be preliminary, the revived show would apparently focus on new characters and stories, with some of the original cast only making cameos in the new series. Of course, this wouldn't be the first time that Heroes found its way onto an Xbox 360: the show was one of the few series to be released on HD DVD,"
  5. Well considering that everyday I eat only fruit and brown bread followed by grilled Bio chicken with uncooked broccoli on fridays, I think its safe to say that none of that poison is in my diet. LoL yeah I know I know, to say Ive turned my back on junk food is a understatement!
  6. Sorry I know nothing about splenda or Nectresse. What is that? Artificial sweetener?
  7. I would never eat or drink anything that has Aspartame in it.
  8. Cereal, that boasts on the box "now with 25% less sugar" at least thats what I think it says..My german is not good LOL! I ask the question, why does the cereal have ANY sugar in it. Ive been trying to eat more healthy and it seems as if its impossible to find food to eat that doesnt have salt or sugar in it.
  9. I agree! I was never much of a Star Trek fan, I always liked Star Wars more. But when I watched the remake I was completely taken a back by how awesome this new version was. It had alot of action, and I think thats what was always missing in the Star Trek movies. And obviously the new Star Trek also had great casting and a fantastic script! Im really looking forward to the new film, but am not interested in seeing it in 3D.
  10. I recently finished reading "American on Purpose: The Improbable Adventures of an Unlikely Patriot - By Craig Ferguson" and really enjoyed it. Its a short read so If you have spare time I recommend checking it out. "In American on Purpose, Craig Ferguson delivers a moving and achingly funny memoir of living the American dream as he journeys from the mean streets of Glasgow, Scotland, to the comedic promised land of Hollywood. Along the way he stumbles through several attempts to make his mark—as a punk rock musician, a construction worker, a bouncer, and, tragically, a modern dancer. To numb the pain of failure, Ferguson found comfort in drugs and alcohol, addictions that eventually led to an aborted suicide attempt. (He forgot to do it when someone offered him a glass of sherry.) But his story has a happy ending: success on the hit sitcom The Drew Carey Show, and later as the host of CBS's Late Late Show. By far Ferguson's greatest triumph was his decision to become a U.S. citizen, a milestone he achieved in early 2008."
  11. Thanks for the warm welcome everybody. Wish you all a cool weekend!
  12. Watched Season one and was instantly a fan! Such a excellent show. Amazing script writing. I thought Season two was ok but most certainly not as good as season one. Have not watched season 3 yet. Im waiting for it to be released on blu-ray.

  14. Hunt For The Skinwalker - Science Confronts the Unexplained at a Remote Ranch in Utah By - Colm A. Kelleher and George Knapp I really enjoyed this book but I will say it is quite spooky. It's apparently a true story about this team of scientists that bought this farm that was reported to have a huge amount of paranormal activity occuring on it. So this group of scientists went down there to try and study the phenomena. It is a fascinating story and well worth reading in my opinion. I think Jesse Ventura's TV Show Conspiracy Theory had a episode about it. Full description for Hunt for the Skinwalker: The author of the controversial bestseller "Brain Trust" brings his scientific expertise to the chilling true story of unexplained phenomena on Utah's Skinwalker Ranch -- and challenges us with a new vision of reality. For more than fifty years, the bizarre events at a remote Utah ranch have ranged from the perplexing to the wholly terrifying. Vanishing and mutilated cattle. Unidentified Flying Objects. The appearance of huge, otherworldly creatures. Invisible objects emitting magnetic fields with the power to spark a cattle stampede. Flying orbs of light with dazzling maneuverability and lethal consequences. For one family, life on the Skinwalker Ranch had become a life under siege by an unknown enemy or enemies. Nothing else could explain the horrors that surrounded them -- perhaps science could. Leading a first-class team of research scientists on a disturbing odyssey into the unknown, Colm Kelleher spent hundreds of days and nights on the Skinwalker property and experienced firsthand many of its haunting mysteries. With investigative reporter George Knapp -- the only journalist allowed to witness and document the team's work -- Kelleher chronicles in superb detail the spectacular happenings the team observed personally, and the theories of modern physics behind the phenomena. Far from the coldly detached findings one might expect, their conclusions are utterly hair-raising in their implications. Opening a door to the unseen world around us, "Hunt for the Skinwalker" is a clarion call to expand our vision far beyond what we know.
