Today I got a wooden splinter stuck underneath my fingernail, which came loose from the wooden floor. With some effort we managed to pry it loose. I've never had such a big splinter! It hurts a lot.

Got a gig writing articles on raising grandchildren, on a local magazine!!

After reaching April 22nd with only 5 books read this month, I went into a reading frenzy and am up to 9 books read 6 days later. Aiming to finish another 3 in the next 4 days. If only I was this motivated in my professional life!

Soo happy! Tomorrow we will go to Hamburg to see the musical "Love never dies". It's the 2nd part of "The phantom of the opera" and I hope I'll enjoy it

My God I actually just purchased a Kindle book which tells me the correct number of total pages, as well as the page I'm on, instead of just my 'location'. Splendid!

My Goodreads perpetually tells me I am one book ahead of schedule, no matter how fast I read. It's not very motivating.
