Gad786 Posted March 9, 2012 Author Share Posted March 9, 2012 Came to update and add review of last book REVIEW OF:THE ADVENTURES OF CAPTAIN HATTERAS:BY JULES VERNE It is about the journey a ships of sailor and captain takes to the north pole and the endeavors they take and the deaths that happen on the way.It shows perseverance and the hatred between countrys and the life in the north pole and historys of explorers. Gad786 Posted March 10, 2012 Author Share Posted March 10, 2012 (edited) Review of :THE ADVENTURES OF ROCKY AND BULLWINKLE Its about rocky and bullwinkle and theyre fight against natasha,moris and fearless leader who have escaped from cartoon world to control this world and become the president of america by hypotizing the people on tv.It is a hilarious and adventurous journey. I think it is funny as I said and hilarious and that its a good childrens book and pretty clever characters but it also is a bit stupid.It has few jokes but out of 10 stars I give it these 4---->* * * * I read this at school for a book report and I just chose a short easy one so I could get to my own intellectual reading for fun. Gad786 Posted March 12, 2012 Author Share Posted March 12, 2012 (edited) REVIEW OF :ANNE OF AVONLEA It is the second book in the anne of green gable series.Anne is a grown-up 16 year old teacher yet in her ways she is still the young child with freckles all-over-her-face that she used to be.She faces her challenges of being a teacher and makes new friends.And an old romance is revealed once more and united once more. My opinion:A great book by l.m.montgomery.It has many funny incidents and it keeps you glued eyes and hands to the book wanting to know what happens next and what anne has up her sleeves next as well as the mischievous davy. REVIEW OF:OLD MAN AND THE SEA It is about an old man who has ad a little above a 80 day unluckly streak without catching any fish and one day he catches a fish or they catch each other and he is taken far out to sea with many dangers and a mighty marlin. My opinion:A master piece my ernest hemingway that shows determination and love between the old man and the boy. REVIEW OF:THE SNOW GOOSE IT is a book that symbolizes love,loyalty and friendship to the death.The story of a lonely man and a small girl who grows up and a snow goose that is rescued by the man and the girl. My opinion:Well,It was a bit disappointing with the storyline and the way it was put but none-the-less the message is clear.
