I'll watch it just to see how much dafter it can get   It makes 24 look like a documentary at times  :D

Hated episode 303, but loved episode 304. That ending reminded me why I like the show. :)

Yep, loved the ending of this episode. Very exciting things are on the way!

I have watched a few but it just looks a bit ...well, silly.  Who would trust the Claire Danes character with National Security? I wouldn't trust her to go down to the shops without getting emotionally involved with someone on the way and forgetting what she went there for.

  I quite like her character, though she does need a shake up every now and then. Which season have you watched - the current one, or the first one?

I really like where Season 3 is going. I'm glad Brody's not in it all the time now - in fact, the worst episode for me, was the one where it was nothing but Brody.

Er...I'm not sure. That might be part of the problem, not having been there at the beginning. Yes I know what you mean about Brody too. I really like the actor but I can't watch him in this for some reason.

Peter Quinn is on too little. But I am so glad that Saul has a major part in season 3. I love him as the take-charge character.
I kind of hope that Brody dies on this mission. I don't really see the purpose of his character anymore. With his past, he can't work for the CIA much longer.

I agree - we definitely need to see more of Peter Quinn.  From what I've been reading, Brody will be involved in the rest of the series, but I just feel like the show has moved in a different direction and he isn't really necessary anymore.

Finally, no more Brody! Not that I enjoyed watching him hang, but I really have had enough of that character. It became so silly that Carrie cared more about him than her job and her country. Maybe now we can move on to other things. And hopefully more Quinn. And of course Saul and Carrie.

I was quite shocked for Brody to go the way he did, but it really was the only way out for him. They couldn't drag his storyline out any further and he couldn't return to America, so they really needed to end things for him. I never got the Brody - Carrie thing.....it just never felt real to me. I also hope the show doesn't turn into a soap opera with her pregnancy either.  I can't see where the show can go....I think they will have to bring in a completely new storyline.

That is at least the good part about the kind of show this is. There will always be new potential threats on America. The CIA will always have work to do. The Abu Nazir story ended in season 2. Now this Iran story seems ended too. Will next story be a Syrian threat? A new main bad guy will for sure make an entrance.

Season 4 will be filmed in Cape Town, South Africa.
I believe they will make Africa look like the middle east.

The second season of the original Israeli series on which Homeland is based, Prisoners of War, starts on Sky Arts tonight

Loved it.
Feels like they have inserted fresh air to the show by making a few changes. But it's still Homeland.

There was in particular two scenes that stood out for me. One involving Carrie in a bathroom. And a scene with 3 people in a car.

Season 4 starts with a double episode. At least in the US, and Sweden. Should begin like that everywhere, I believe.

Season 4 was in my opinion the best of Homeland. I was on the edge of my seat many times.

Season 5 will begin in October.

Agreed. Hopefully Season 5 will be just as good.

I hope they keep the cast from season 4 - those who survived season 4 that is. ;)
