Plasmagirl Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 Just wondering what people thought of this. It received really good reviews but I wasn't as keen and it did make me wonder what the booker prize reviewers think makes a good book. I only chose it because it was the book for January of my bookclub 'The Oxford Book Club' on google+ Was there a clever subtext in the story that I totally missed or was it just about a whiney man who didn't do much with his life and took some pleasure in looking at someone else's drama briefly?
