The Good Citizen
I've only recently started to read some SciFi as I thought I should give it a go. I've read Asimov Foundations trilogy, some Ray Bradbury and Philip K Dick and enjoyed them all but its clear Sci-Fi is quite a broad term as they differ in style and content greatly. Does anyone have any must reads? I liked Philip K Dick as he had a certain level of character development and centres as much on the human impact of future technology and how it alienates people from themselves. I think I prefer that to the purer SciFi of Asimov which is more solely about imagining and creating future worlds. But I'm open to reading anything really? Karsa Orlong
Voyage sounds interesting so I might give that a go next! It's a terrific book, especially if you have any interest in the Apollo era and what might have happened had JFK lived.

Karsa Orlong
I'm getting too predictable. I can't help it Jack is my hero. There's nowt wrong with that - it's not like I haven't mentioned all the books above several (hundred) times already
Ooshie
My favourite of the genre is probably Neuromancer by William Gibson.
Amesy
Karsa mentioned everything I was going to suggested. I'm going to throw "The HitchHickers Guide to the Galaxy" in there. It's an Highly amusing read. The Night's Dawn trilogy is my biggest suggestion though. Epic on a scale second to none.
Karsa Orlong
Karsa mentioned everything I was going to suggested. Bloody Karsa - I'd trust him about as far as I could throw him (which wouldn't be far).
