I was introduced on holiday last year to the joys of the Cumberland Rum Nicky

I just wondered if anyone had tried to turn this into an alternative mince pie filling? I HATE raisins/sultanas/currants (along with brussel sprouts this make for great traditional christmas fayre!) but I thought the rum nicky filling might work quite well as an alternative

Anyone got any thoughts?
