Janet
I'm after a children's book. It's based on the Christmas song The Twelve Days of Christmas and is (I believe) in letter form. It starts off as a series of thank you letters but ends up with a solicitor's letter threatening the sender of the gifts as the recipient tries to cope with 12 Drummer's-drumming, 11 Piper's-piping, 10 Lord's-a-leaping... Thanks in advance
Kell
I think it's The Twelve Days of Christmas [Correspodence] by John Julius Norwich and illustrated by the wonderful Quentin Blake. You can find it HERE.

Janet
I've just ordered it! Thanks again. ETA: I did search for "The Twelve Days of Christmas" on Amazon earlier, but I still didn't find it!
