summerbreeze Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 Hello everyone, My name is Alison I am 47 and live in London with my hubby and three growing up children. I first found my love of books aged around 11 when I read Anne frank's diaries and found I was emotionally drawn into the book by the plight of a girl who was around my age. It made me appreciate life. Over the last few years I haven't read as much as I would of liked with other commitments but my passion to read more has returned. I joined the BCF and had a little look around and have already been inspired by what someone said about a book that I went off read the blub and ordered it. So I would like to say thank you, already this forum has been a great source of information, I look forward to becoming more involved in discussions about books as my confidence grows. Have a nice day all, Alison x Quote

Roland Butter Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 Hi Alison, and welcome to the Forum! It's certainly the place to be if you want inspiration - you'll end up wanting to read more books than you can possibly cope with. Quote
