Star Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 Ok you probs already know I'm reading the Twilight Saga for the first time & I'm totally obsessed with it. I'm a quarter way through eclipse & so far I have no idea what happens in Breaking Dawn although I hear it's amazing & kind of know a certain thing thanks to the newspaper letting it drop. They've now released the trailer for it so I'm trying my hardest not to see it. The sun have released it so guessing it'll be on the tv soon ARRRRGHHHHHH I really want to have read the book before I see anything. Race is officially on .......... Wish me luck lol Quote
Ben Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 Lock yourself in the house and read until it's finished. It's the only way.. Also, you could put this thread in 'general' not 'reading lists' as it's not really a list? Quote
Michelle Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 Ben, I've already moved this thread to what I thought was the best place - this isn't just 'lists', it's reading records in general.. and if I merged it with the existing Twilight threads, I'd risk lu lu reading spoilers. Quote

Oh my mistake Michelle, I thought this was where it was posted in the first place - I guess putting it here makes sense. Quote
Star Posted September 15, 2011 Author Posted September 15, 2011 Where am I now lol? I thought I posted in the general forum. Did I post it in the wrong place? Sorry too many choices of boards I get a little confused (doesn't take much) Ben that is my plan. No outside for me & TV is defo banned hee hee Thanks Michelle I don't want any spoilers that's for sure Quote
Michelle Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 lu lu, sometimes it's hard to know where to post - it's not always a case of 'right or wrong', just that one of the mod team might feel it better suited somewhere else. Quote
Mashunja Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 I've read the books...really quickly, it's that kinda book that takes you about 2,5 hours to read. Anyway, good luck and you won't be disappointed. Quote
LittleW Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Wow, Mashunja, you are a very fast reader. I wish you good luck, Star. I don't like knowing the plot in advance and to me that certainly doesn't belong into a newspaper. Nor on TV, where it is even harder to ignore. Quote

LOVE THEM SO MUCH SO FAR!!!!!!! p.s - Doing well so far, haven't seen the released trailer PHEW!!! Quote
chesilbeach Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 Good luck! You have to stay away from the trailer as there is a big spoiler for something that happens within the first quarter of the book, so make sure you avoid it at all costs, and just concentrate on reading the book! No television, no internet sites, just keep your eyes on the book until you finish Quote

No television, no internet sites, just keep your eyes on the book until you finish OMG OMG OMG Just about to start Jacobs section now. I know which spoiler you was on about & that's the bit I already knew becuase of the stupid Newspaper releasing it & showing a scene & then commenting on the picture and totallly giving it away. I was gutted to discover it why spoil it really?? Did it need to be in a national newspaper months before the film really??? Hmmmmmm So far so good anyway x Quote
LittleW Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 On the other hand, how could you promote a film without releasing some details or scenes of it? Mostly, if you see the whole movie, it's very different because of the context. Quote
Star Posted October 7, 2011 Author Posted October 7, 2011 I did it I managed to read them all before seeing the trailer for the last film haha. So sad it's all over now. I feel lost without them. Guess that's a sign of a good book. Quote
