SteveScaffardi
Hey, has anyone ever come across a website called BookCrossing.com before? The idea is that you send your old books out into the 'wild' by leaving them on a train or in a coffee shop for someone else to pick up. You can add a special ID number to the book, and whoever finds it can then go on to the website and leave their comments. Seems like quite a fun idea and wondered if anyone else had ever come across something like this before or found any other quirky book websites? chesilbeach
Hi Steve, there's a thread on bookcrossing.com here --> http://www.bookclubforum.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/829-bookcrossing. I've had a look at it the past, but there were never any live books in my area, and I'm not a huge fan of secondhand books anyway, so I haven't really used it, but I'm sure there are other BCF members who use it often.
