SonOfSteel Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Hi I'm wondering if anyone here can help me, I'm trying to track down a book for my mother that she had years ago but lost it when it was loaned to a friend. She can't remember the title or the author but she can remember what its about "historical romance - woman leaves her brothers house and takes a job as teacher in the west, falls in love with a widowed rancher with a young son . She is also being courted by the newspaperman. The Indians attack the small town and the rancher puts his son up a tree to keep him safe ,tells the boy not to come down until he comes for him, with everything that happens he forgets his son until someone asks about him. Of course they end up married and live happily ever after. old mills and boon type book with yellow cover" This is all she can remember, Does it sound familiar to anyone? Quote
