Review The book was more up hill struggle than journey. Now Prime Minister memoirs are not known to be full of laughs and adventure, but this has been reviewed as the lighter side of memoirs. The best bits of the books have all been quoted through the media. The rest of the book is dull and boring with minute details of policy making, revisions and quarrels in Downing Street. I struggled through half of the book and then, like Gordon Brown I just had to walk away, shame Tony Blair didn’t when writing the book.
