trying to find a book

I'm hoping someone can help. I was listening to a radio programe last week and the guast was asked his favorite book. I didn't catch the title or author but it was about terminal patients being given LSD and their experiances. It sound really intresting and pretty thought provoking. Can anyone shed any light on it ?

Not sure, but could it be 'The Human Encounter with Death' by Stanislav Grof and Joan Halifax?
