Chrissy Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 I have recently read and really enjoyed the Cassandra YA Clare Mortal Instruments Books ~ 'City Of Bones', 'City Of Ashes', 'City Of Glass'. I can thoroughly recommend them as inventive and well depicted. Quote

lyn Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 have you tried Cecilia Dart-Thornton? she has written several fantasy books. the trilogy I read was The Bitterbynde - Book 1, The Ill-Made Mute, Book 2, The Lady of the Sorrows, Book 3, The Battle of Evernight. it is a beautiful saga and beautifully written. lyn Quote
Kell Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 What about the True Blood books................................... Yes, they're fun reads. Quite sexy in parts, but fun. What about Kelley Armstrong hers are brilliant. Very brilliant. She's done both supernatural thrillers and another series which is an ex-cop-turned-assassin, which are also excellent (there are two of those onesso far). Quote
ToniLianne Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 I'm a big fan of the David Edding's series The Belgariad, can take a while to get into but I found them a good read. Have you read any Anne Rice novels? They're good too. Quote
