Here's my challenge. The idea is to read a book for A-Z by authour name, but where I already own it TBR or I can download it for free. I'm missing some letters and I am hoping for suggestions. A further challenge will be for me to review them in some way as I haven't written any book reviews since school. 26 books isn't perhaps much of a challenge, but I've never been one for the classics and there are some of those here. Just need to find those last 4 authors now. If I can't find them for free then I guess I'll buy something but only once I have read all the others :)

Jane Austen – Pride and Prejudice

Well that's A done!

I decided to start right at the top and was glad I did! I found it hard to get into at first, the language was so different to what I usually read, but was really enjoying it by the time I got a third of the way through! By halfway I didn't want to put it down! I loved the way she delevoped the characters. The annoying, the pompous, the devious and of course our hero and heroine :) After this I downloaded her entire collection, and if that's not a sign of a good read, I'm not sure what is :)

Now I've started B which is much different!

Beverly Barton - The Dying Game

I don't think I can say too much about this book without giving the story away but here goes...

This one was a free download from Amazon so thought I would give it a go. The story is about a serial killer who is targetting former Beauty Queens. It was an enjoyable enough read, though it didn't make me want to immediately buy all her other work, though if I found them really cheap I probably would. I would give this one about 7/10

Michael Connelly - Nine Dragons

Some of the reviews of this one said that it was probably one of his weakest, and I'm sorry to say I would have to agree, but it was an easy enough read and I didn't actually find myself bored by it...could have done better I think, so a 6/10. I'm surprised at liking the Barton book better than the Connelly. Next is a classic, so I'll see how I do with that :)
