Mamacita Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Anyone have a recipe they'd like to share? Quote
dogmatix Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 What is Christmas Pudding? I hear about it all the time but I've never seen or had it. Do tell..... Quote
Freewheeling Andy Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 It's a suet based pudding, made with loads of dried fruit and alcohol that last for ages, and you cook by steaming in a ceramic pudding bowl and then leave for months; and reheat before eating. It's lovely. I wouldn't put any sauce on at all. Just a bit of brandy, set fire to it, then huge great dollops of double cream, and huge great dollops of brandy butter. Quote
Paul Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 Also called Plum Pudding? Or is that different? Sounds like the eating is the same. Quote
