Mac Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 Why are DVD extra features almost always accompanied by non-stop music in the background, even when actors, designers, researchers and writers are being interviewed? Does anyone else find this incredibly distracting and irritating? It's like the constant music in the background of the links between kid's programmes and some of the lower-brow news programmes. It makes it all almost unwatchable! Gah! Rant over. Thoughts, please. Quote
chesilbeach Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 Urgh. I hate the background music on the extras! Why does it have to be so loud on menus? I'll join your rant on this one, Mac. Quote
Peacefield Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 It is annoying, I agree. Especially over the menus when it's on some constant hellish loop and you have to hear it over and over again. Having it during the extras makes no sense! If someone wants to take the time to watch the extras, they obviously are interested in hearing what actors/crew have to say, NOT listen to annoying tuneage! Very maddening, for sure. Quote
Kylie Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 I'd never noticed annoying music in the extras. Now I'll notice nothing but. Thanks very much Mac! I agree with annoying music on the menus, Peace. I always try to click through to the next screen before the music takes hold. Quote
