Dancing With His Heart brings independent Lauren Peay together with her old nemesis, Alex Saunders. Playboy, and philanthropist, Alex offers first class sponsorship to Lauren and her dance partner. Given their past, Lauren is suspicious. Without resources, the single mother of a child with autism is forced to take Alex's offer. His plan is to prove that he's changed and win her heart. But trust is not easily won and Lauren faces more trouble when a dark figure from their past shows up with devious intentions for them both.

Having no previous interest in ballroom dancing, and an avoidance of anything I deem 'romantic', I wasn't sure what to expect with this book.. and was very very pleasantly surprised!

The romance is well done, with a strong male lead, but an equally strong female one. Lauren's priorities lie very firmly with her daughter, and this part of the story gives an interesting glimpse into living with a child with autism.

With a focus on ballroom dancing, I was a little concerned that it would overwhelm the story, and I would lose interest, but Katherine manages to do the opposite.. another great insight.

In addition to all this, this is a book that sizzles along, with energy and passion.

My one criticism would be that it feels a little short, but other than that, if you've avoided 'romance' before, maybe give this one a shot?

It's basically the book in a format that can be sent by email, and you read on your screen. :018: I spend so much so time looking at my screen as it is, that I couldn't possibly read a book on here aswell. But it suits some people fine. :018:

Been a bit naughty and emailed it to myself at work :018:

Finished DWHH tonight. This is the first time I've read an 'ebook' and I have to say I really enjoyed it KW. I look forward to reading more of your work. I agree with Michelle's comments 100%. Although the ebook format was ok (especially when reading at work :018: ) i do think it is better to have a book in your hand.

Great story, strong characters and an insight into bringing a child up who has autism.

Thanks KW :018:

You could use my Sunday name...Julia, if you wish ;)

It also had me hooked from page 1, and I look forward to reading your other books KW

Oh madcow...you've made my night...I'll use your Sunday name -- the mystique of just "Julia" will add some interest...

By all means read the other books. In fact, I think Michelle might be giving away a free copy of NOON in some sort of contest (perhaps) at some later date...lol, sounds very sketchy, but it's not...
