acliffe85 Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 Has anyone read any of Wendy Holden's books? are they any good? Some one advised me that are similar to confessions of a shopacholic would anyone agree? Quote
chesilbeach Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 I've read a few of her books, and I've really enjoyed them. When I'm next on a chick lit finding mission, I'll be looking out for some more of hers. They are funny and witty like Shopaholic, but the characters in the books I've read tend to be a bit older rather than the young twenty-somethings as I always imagine Becky to be. She writes great characters, and I think that's the strength of Sophie Kinsella's books, her characters are loveable and identifiable. Quote
Kell Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 I've read School For Husbands which was pretty decent (I gave it 7/10). A light,l easy read that was quite entertaining. Quote
