Inver Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 I have just read in the Books section of the 'The Scotsman' newspaper in an interview with Kate Atkinson, that her Case Histories and possibly her other two Jackson Brodie books, are to be adapted for BBC1. They are starting filming of the first three Brodie novels next month in Edinburgh and Jason Issacs (Lucius Malfoy in Harry Potter) as the main character. He should be good in the part I think. The six-part series is to be shown on BCC1 next spring. She also says she is taking a break from the Brodie novels so don't expect another for a while, once the latest is released. Quote
nicx27 Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 I'm very excited about this. I love the books, and I love Jason Isaacs. Quote
Stephanie2008 Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 I've never read the books but next spring's a while so I'll try and find them before then. Jason Isaacs....can't really go wrong there Quote
Kidsmum Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 I've got Case Histories so I'll make sure to read it before the series starts Quote
