geordie_bint Posted May 30, 2010 Share Posted May 30, 2010 Hi Everyone, I thought I would pop a post on here to say hello as I have not been on for about 6 months you may have forgotten me lol. Von here, I live in Newcastle with my Husband, Daughter, two adopted Greyhounds, six cats and assorted tropical fish. I am reading Birdsong at the moment by Sebastian Faulks, I picked it up at a local jumble sale and have not been able to put it down, surprised me totally and a very poignant novel. I usually read crime, thrillers but I have been dabbling with other genres last book read was the Memory Keepers Daughter, too many books in the house on the too read pile and not enough hours in the day lol! Is it a part of a trilogy, or am I completely mistaken? I did not realise Birdsong was part of a trilogy, I will have to look into that and maybe read the others, he is all new to me so I will have quite a few to catch up on!
