I have a crafting blog, but Ive not come across many reading blogs

Possibly because ive not really tried to look into it.

What im wondering is, are there many members that have a seperate reading blog were they post review and thoughts of the books they read

And do you think others would be interested in reading reading blogs:mrgreen:

Hi Rune - there are quite a few members here who have reading blogs, or include book reviews on their personal blogs, and I also read a few from outside of the forum.

You can find links to those members who blog in this thread.

Alternatively, some members just keep a (b)log of their reading in this board on the forum.

I used to keep a seperate book reviews blog, but I haven't added any reviews to it in a long time (although it's still there and I still occasionally get a comment on it, sometimes fromthe authors themselves!). Now, however, I just put the reviews in my regular blog and keep it all together (I used to have a seperate cross stitch blog too, but similarly, all my craft stuff in is my regular blog now).

THe forum has a Book Reviews blog if you fancy having a look - hundreds of reviews on there now as the team get a lot of books direct from authors and publishers for review and also add reviews of their own books as they're reading them.

I read quite a few book blogs although tend to only read ones which read the same kind of books as me. Not point in me reading someones blog who only reads fantasy as I dont tend to. I also read alot of crafting blogs, im addicted.

The link to the book blog in my sig hasn't been updated since some point last year, but there are some brilliant blogs which are regularly updated. Check out Google, under the Blogs category (the drop-down choice) to search for book reviews - it would be interesting to hear what differences people here have found between the most popular book blogs. Does opinion really differ so greatly that a work of outstanding merit can be easily dismissed, and 'froth' can attain the highest commendations?

Maybe a list of the best book review blogs would be in order...
