I bought this last year when it came out and loved it :) It was such a relaxed little book, as you said, like talking to a fellow bookworm!

Interesting! Thanks for the review. Till I read that it is definitely one I would NOT have picked up if I saw it. Might give it a go. Or I may not.

My Mum and Dad bought me this for Christmas. It's being bumped up the pile now! :)

:giggle2: I didn't bump it very far, did I?! I've finished it now. I've posted some thoughts in my blog, but essentially I really enjoyed it, even if my list in the back only has 39 books, not 40!

Great review! Bought this a few weeks ago and am looking forward to reading it...maybe it will inspire me to stop buying so many books and just stick with the ones I already have (but it probably won't ;) )

Lucky you - it might be worth something in a few years! The copy I borrowed from the library was also one from the original print run, but the one I've subsequently bought myself has the full 40 titles in :D
