I've got myself these as well, let's hope they're as good as they sound and as fabulous as everybody keeps telling they are! Happy reading SueK!

I loved these books! I didn't really know much about Mark Gatiss when I read the first book, but I thought they were familiar yet unusual stories, and I devoured the other two as soon as they were published, so I hope you enjoy them as much as I did

The Chronicles of Fairacre - Miss Read

Over Christmas, I hunted down all my Miss Read books from the various rooms with bookshelves in our house, as I realised I haven't read them since I was a teenager, and thought I might have a re-read to see if I still like them as much as I did then. I also realised there are a lot I still haven't got, so if I do like them, I'll be going on a buying spree, as they're all being reissued in new editions at the moment!
