Gregor the Overlander Series

This series is about a 11 year old boy who falls down a grate with his two-year-old sister. There is a city underground. Its populated with humans, but also there are giant bats,spiders,rats,coachroaches, and other creatures down there. While trying to find a way out Gregor finds that he is unknowingly involved in a prophecy. The first one is called Gregor the Overlander. There are four other books in this series.

 

I loved this series when I was younger.
