The ones that stick in my mind were the multiple personality character in Jonathan Nasaw's first book. Cody Mcfayden's killer in The Face of Death. Val Mcdermid killer in The wire in the blood etc etc. Quote

frankie Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 I would have to say that Chelsea Cain's Gretchen Lowell is the scariest serial killer that comes to mind. She's awfully grotesque, has obviously no idea what a guilty conscience means, and she's managed to fool the police force as well. I say no more so I won't spoil anything for the potential readers.
