Vanwa Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 Ok I know there are already threads for the Odd Thomas series by Koontz, but they appear to be a little neglected and I need some quick help! I haven't read Odd Thomas, but have a copy of Forever Odd which somehow has made it to the top of my TBR pile before I've even gotten a hold of Odd Thomas. So here's the big question: Am I going to completely ruin this group of novels for myself by reading them out of order??? Thanks Quote
Vanwa Posted September 18, 2009 Author Posted September 18, 2009 Short answer - yes Teehee thanks Scarlet *moves Forever Odd reluctantly to the bottom of the pile.* Fluke by Herbert it is then Quote
Fi. Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 You're welcome lovely Fluke is a good choice though - Herbert is one of my favourite writers! Quote
Vanwa Posted September 18, 2009 Author Posted September 18, 2009 Ooh goody, at least in my disappointment over Koontz I've got a good 'un to read (until I anxiously get to the shop/library and pick up Odd Thomas) Quote
Mia Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 Fluke by Herbert it is then Ooh, good choice. I love this book (in fact, it's the only James Herbert book I've got through). Quote
Vanwa Posted September 20, 2009 Author Posted September 20, 2009 Update Fluke was brilliant. Absolutely loved it. And I now own all three Odd novels. I just need to read them Quote
BigWords Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Which begs the question: which three books do you have? Quote
Vanwa Posted September 20, 2009 Author Posted September 20, 2009 Oooh noooooooo!!! The first three in that case. Missing Odd Hours, which somehow escaped my attention. It's a good thing I'm at Waterstones on Thursday Thanks guys! Quote
