I have recently read 'The Sword of Shannara' myself and have 'The Elfstones of Shannara' to read soon. His Landover series looks interesting too. Usually i just go into the book shop and take a pick at whatever catches my eye and gives a decent review. Ordered the sorwd of shannara on Greenmet there now, going to give it a go.
