Does anyone know what's happened to Bookhopper?

Does anyone have any idea what's been going on at this site. I haven't been able to access it for a couple of weeks and now I get another message implying that the site's closed.

It worked really well for me, so if it's gone it's a shame.

Judging by the numbers, it's been around a while (over 20,000 UK members at least), but perhaps not a huge-long while.

I have been using Bookhopper for quite a while and every now and then the site goes down for a few days, but it is up and running now!

 

It is a really good site for swapping books and there has only been one occassion where I have not received the book that I requested. Usually, people send the books to you and they are received within a week, so it is well worth a look when you get a chance.

 

It is totally free, you only have to pay postage costs.
