Christie Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 I didn't even know he wrote short spooky stories but this one was fantastic my favourtie image- 'The wind was like a flat blade of ice upon my cheek' This brilliant short story left me on the edge of my seat and the end was a huge unexpecting twist! Roald Dahl lovers I recommend you read this story! Or anyone for that matter! Quote
Snowball Pig Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 Roald Dahl is a great short story writer. My personal favourites are Lamb to the Slaughter,Man from the South, and also The Landlady. If you haven't already you should check out his book 'Tales of the Unexpected'. Quote
