I always started off a year with the intention of tracking my reads and then fallen off the wagon after a few months. Now I've got this forum and librarything, so hopefully I'll stay on track. So far in 2009:

1. A Fortunate Age by Joanna Smith Rakoff 3/5

2. Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet by Jamie Ford 4/5

3. Animal Vegetable Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver 4.5/5

4. The Heretic's Daughter by Katharine Kent 3.5/5

5. The School of Essential Ingredients by Erica Bauermeister 4/5

6. Serendipity by Louise Shaffer 4.5/5

7. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time by Mark Haddon 3.5/5

8. Firefly Lane by Kristin Hannah 3.5/5

9. Mrs. Lincoln: A Life by Catharine Clinton 3.5/5

10. Honeymoon in Tehran by Azadeh Moaveni 4.5/5

Hi Yankeefan

I read Animal Vegetable Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver a couple of year ago. I liked it a lot. I learned a lot too.

I'd love to be somewhat self sufficient - couldn't do the 'harvest' day though
