bookworm44
I'm like that too. I sometimes find though, even if I read the book first and then watch the film, when I read the book again I start imagining the actors and scenes. It's really annoying. BookBee, I completely agree with you! Usually if it
NovaLee
BookWorm, BookBee ....your both absolutely right about visualizing the actors ~ I do hate that and find it quite distracting. You've convinced me to just sit down and start reading the book instead of trying to fast-track myself to this shocking ending I keep hearing about. I do agree with you about The Notebook. THAT movie I enjoyed ....in fact, dare I say, I may have enjoyed even more than the book which is really odd, I know.
BookBee8
I do agree with you about The Notebook. THAT movie I enjoyed ....in fact, dare I say, I may have enjoyed even more than the book which is really odd, I know. I did, too. I actually thought the movie had more depth than the book, which I think is so rare. It hardly ever happens where I prefer the movie but I did in this case. The book was a little forgetabble to be honest!
bookworm44
Love the One You're With by Emily Giffin Synopsis: Ellen and Andy's first year of marriage doesn't just seem perfect, it is perfect. There is no question how deep their devotion is, and how naturally they bring out the best in each other. But one fateful afternoon, Ellen runs into Leo for the first time in nearly a decade. Leo, the one who brought out the worst in her. Leo, the one who left her heartbroken with no explanation. Leo, the one she could never quite forget. When his reappearance ignites long-dormant emotions, Ellen begins to question whether the life she's living is the one she's meant to live. Love the One You're With is a powerful story about one women at the crossroads of true love and real life.
