He takes my breath away and he makes me laugh, cry and go mad because I can't do it. He makes me feel small and inadequate because of this beuatiful equisite style of writing where you want to meet everybody, shake them by the hand, hug them, even the bludy dog! This guy really zaps a plot together and then some!! Hi Scout! You'll do well in Scotland. Gerald Seymour - I love you, you are amazing. I highly recommend both of these books, don't let war zones put you off, it is the writer's gut wrenching style of storyline which counts.
