Argh, it seems my comment came out all wrong. I meant I wouldn't bother to count the books on my bookshelves that I haven't read or indeed make a list like some people have.

I enjoyed it too! Anything that gets the kids fired up gets me fired up! The fact that it generated so much discussion was really good as well and I can see the potential for so much cross curricular work.

Have now finished the Paul McKenna- a nice quick read!

I read this one and used his CD about 3 years ago. It did not make me thin. :D

Yesterday was my birthday so I went to Foyle's in Charing Cross Road and bought myself two teaching books and a collection of short stories called 'The Apocalypse Reader'. I could quite easily have bought many more books!

Finished Coraline by Neil Gaiman. I had read a couple of chapters last year but picked it up again earlier, started from the beginning and just read it right though! A bit freaky and I may have bad dreams tonight now!

Also reading Dreams from my Father by Barack Obama and a couple of others as well.

How are you finding it? I started it last week and found it fascinating! I'm hoping to get back to it as soon as I finish my re-read of Never Let Me Go

I'm hoping to get hold of Dreams From My Father soon.

Have finished The House of the Spirits by Isabel Allende. Not sure what I am going for next.

It took me ages to get into (about a week) but last night and today I devoured most of the book in one sitting. I think I had to get used to her style.

Recently have started The Suspicions of Mr Whicher but after a few days put it down and have devoured The Island by Victoria Hislop which I finished about ten minutes ago.

What did you think about Mr. Whicher? I really expected to enjoy it, but didn't.

I couldn't get into it at all and put it down after a few chapters so haven't finished it yet!

I bought this yesterday because I thought it sounded good! It did only cost

I have devoured another book over the last few days, Too Close to Home by Linwood Barclay. Started it on saturday night and finished it this morning, a gripping read with some lovely twists and turns. Highly recommended to all!
