It wasn't the style or the writing I struggled with, rather the fact that it didn't really grip me or make me feel like I wanted to keep reading the story. I persevered through about the first 100 odd pages but eventually I just got bored of reading it. Then I had to take it back to the library as it had been reserved. I feel bad that I haven't finished it though. I might give it another go soon. Have you read it? What were your thoughts? Quote

Books I Couldn't Finish Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen Oh, that's a shame. I found it quite hard to get into, but was advised to get to the 'Netherfield Ball' and once past that point, things improved and I ended up really enjoying it. Quote
