Guest velocipede2288 Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 I have just finished reading an autobiography by Peter Falk the actor. Read it in a day as it is one of those books you just can't put down. Very funny. I laughed almost all the way through it. I am a great fan of his Columbo character anyway and he writes quite a bit about this creation. He is also a very accomplished artist, and a number of his sketches are in the book along with many photographs. He doesn't call it an autobiography, he calles it " Stories from my life." but the title is "Just One More thing" a phrase often spoken by Lieutenant Columbo. I highly recommend this book. Terrific! I have coppied all but three of the Columbo series off TV. It is a very intelligent detective series. My favourite detective books though was also a seried. Ed McBain's 87th precinct. Great characters. Quote
