Marcus Adams signed book.

I have an old photography book by the royal photographer Marcus Adams which is signed, also with birthday wishes from Marcus to the receiver of the book. I was wondering what the value of the book might be?

I'm no expert, but it would depend on a number of things, including (but not limited to):

 

1. Is the book hardback or paperback?

2. Is it a first edition?

3. Is it a special edition?

4. Is it a limited edition?

5. How rare is it?

6. What is the condition of the book?

7. Is the person to whom it is signed actually named or is it an "open" inscription?

 

You'd probably be best taking it to a book dealer to find out what it might be worth to a collector.
