Laramie
Here it is! On June 19th, the popular horror author Alan Gibbons came to our school and worked with year eight students writing horror stories. Would you believe that this author beat J.K. Rowling, Michael Morpurgo, David Almond and Jacqueline Wilson. Here at the newsletter, we had the opportunity to interview him. He has wanted to be an author since he was 6, and has a lot of influences: novels and poems from childhood, life, lyrics in songs, Johnny Cash and movies. He said that American blues and soul music has been a great influence. He explained to us an idea for a story he has...but that would spoil it now, wouldn
