Janet
No worries. They're usually in a stand just inside the front door and also over by the till point.
Esiotrot
How do you qualify for a Loyalty Card?
Janet
You just ask for one. You have to fill a form in, and voila. It's the same sort of thing as the WHS clubcard.
Karen1
I've gotten the last couple of magazines free with my loyalty card and I love browsing through it. You can apply online for the card too if that's easier for you.
AndyGrayUK
Never read the magazine, so will get it when I'm next in Waterstone's with my loyalty card (which has under £1 on - does that matter?). Is the magazine "proper" or just a like one of those Netto leaflets you get through the door?

Is the magazine "proper" or just a like one of those Netto leaflets you get through the door? It doesn't matter how much (or little!) you have on the card. It's a proper, glossy, magazine. This quarter's is 98 pages long. It has adverts, but they're mostly book related and there aren't 100s. I think it's really good anyway. AndyGrayUK
I couldn't find it when I was in on Saturday. Will continue looking every time I go in though.
happyanddandy
I picked up a copy free as I have a card - some interesting reviews and recommendations for different age groups
Esiotrot
I got a magazine the other day, looks good I have still to find time to have a proper read through. Thanks for the heads up about the card Kx
Janet
A new edition is now out. Don't forget - it's free to Waterstone's loyalty card customers.
Karen1
Have any loyalty card members gone in and got the magazine without buying something too?

Kate
Is the loyalty card like a credit/store card? Or like a Boots card?
MHL1971
I didn't know Waterstone's was doing a loyalty card. Will go and pick one up and have a look at this mag too. Marie
Janet
Is the loyalty card like a credit/store card? Or like a Boots card? Like a Boots card. They did it as a trial in our area for three months and the rolled it out nationwide in September 2007. I love Waterstone's. I just adore the smell and atmosphere of it! Kate
Ooo in that case I'll need to get myself one!!
Janet
It's great as a freebie though!
Karen1
That's good to know that people have gotten the magazine without buying anything else. The couple of times that I've gotten the magazine I've always bought a book or two, as I've felt guilty about going up to the cash desk and claiming my free magazine. The Library Nook
Wow thanks for that, didn't realise you could get it free with the loyalty card!

jemimapd
Does anyone know if Waterstone's Books Quarterly is going to go online in addition to the print edition? I thought I read something about that in my last issue of the magazine months ago, but I haven't seen anything on the Waterstone's site yet. Are they still doing fun, timely articles? I haven't seen one in months as there's no Waterstone's where I live....Thanks for the information!
Michelle
It was mentioned in the latest email from them. This page might help you.
