kmkkra Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 Hello, and good day. I am interested in studying a large array of topics, and some topics don't seem to have a lot of books available to cover them. I've searched Amazon.com and my local book stores and libraries. I was thinking that the United States probably keeps a record of all books that are published in the United States. If this is true this could possibly help me find the large array of books that I've been looking for. My question is what is the website of this national archive? Thank you for reading this, and your help! Quote
Kell Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 I don't know about ALL published books, but you can search the American National Archives Library Catalogue HERE - that may help. Quote
Talisman Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 I don't know about the US, but it is a legal requirement here in the UK that copies of all published books are sent to the British Library in Wetherby, Yorkshire for distribution to various other regional ones throughout the UK - Welsh, Scottish for example. I would imagine then that the British Library must also have archives somewhere. Quote
