I just finished this book and I wanted to ask this:

 

Do you think the book was meant to make one feel uneasy about the characters' state of mind or about our society? How did you feel about it?

 

It is clear that the book was meant to make one feel uncomfortable, but what made you the most uncomfortable/uneasy? The situation in which the main characters grew up in or the subsequent effects on their way of seeing the world and act upon it?

The book really grabbed me. It made me think about how we perceive ourselves and others. It gave me a lot to reflect on regarding how we live in today's society and what changes we should consider.
