happyanddandy Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 Not everyone's cup of tea I know however I have read and enjoyed most if not all of her books. My favourite is 'Other People's Children. In today's Guardian there is a called review of her latest book called 'Friday Nights'. Trollope is referred to there as 'The Queen of the Aga Saga' because most of her stories are set in the Cotswold villages and are about the characters who live there. Anyone else enjoy JT? Janet Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 I read The Rector's Wife many years ago and I think I enjoyed it! (My memory is not what it was!). My mother-in-law loves her books though so she will be happy to know a new one is on the horizon. Quote

~Andrea~ Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 I read other people's children (I think) and I remember thinking she is a good writer, and it was an enjoyable read in a way, but reading about domestic problems wasn't really escapist, or exciting enough for me in a book. I do have another of hers on the shelf though that I picked up second hand. Quote
