kostbill Posted September 8, 2022 Share Posted September 8, 2022 I don't remember seeing a devil that is not handsome, confident, seductive, charming or any other good trait, the only thing being bad, is that he is evil. I watched the TV series Sandman and although I liked that it was a woman devil, the other characteristics were the same. I want to read a devil that is neurotic, that has low self esteem, psychological problems, is not sure of himself, he can be manipulated by others. Any suggestions? Hayley Posted September 14, 2022 Share Posted September 14, 2022 He's not actually a devil, but you might like the character of Death in Terry Pratchett's Discworld books. Reaper Man in particular shows him as a flawed character, unsure about what he wants and definitely having some psychological issues to overcome. It has a humorous tone though. I think that Neil Gaiman wrote some spin-off comics where the devil from Sandman is the main character too. Pretty sure it's called Lucifer.
