Short fantasy, fictional, or historical books?

Do you guys have any suggestions for short(er) books of those genres for adults? My attention span is awful and I miss reading, but cutting down big books no longer works for me 🤷‍♀️

What have you read and enjoyed already? 

 

For a short story I’d definitely recommend The Veldt by Ray Bradbury - it has a very tense mystery so great for keeping your attention!

I would expand Hayley's post above, and say that (IMO) any of Ray Bradbury's short story collections are well worth a visit! And John Wyndham's short story collections are a delight.
