Just because I love to know what other people are reading/aquiring would you like to tell me of your book related Christmas gifts?

 

I got Amazon vouchers which I'll probably spend on books.

I got a few cookbooks including a fantastic looking one called Salt, Acid, Fat, Heat which has great reviews.

I wouldn't mind learning "the skills to cook instinctively", I have to say. I absolutely hate cooking and it shows. Please let me know if you like the book

Sorry for the slow reply, I some how managed to miss seeing this. It's not a book I would read cover to cover but I have dipped into it a fair bit since I got it and I really like it. It covers a lot of the things that professionals know that aren't always covered in the more 'normal' style cook books.

I'm considering teaching myself how to cook - it's never too late, is it? lol - and this looked interesting, so thought I'd ask. Thanks for your answer.
