Michelle Posted August 24, 2008 Author Posted August 24, 2008 To be honest, I'm not entirely sure how I felt about it - I did enjoy it, and found some of it rather emotional.. but I did find certain parts of it a bit strange, and possibly unnecessary, plus I felt as if there could have been a little 'more'. A bit mixed really, but overall positive. Quote
Weave Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 I know what you mean, I really enjoyed it but the ending was lacking:readingtwo: Quote

madcow Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 Wow Michelle lots of books to keep you occupied, the Florence Nightingale one sounds interesting and I hope you enjoy Harvest (I thought it was great ) Quote
Michelle Posted October 23, 2008 Author Posted October 23, 2008 The Florence Nightingale one is interesting, and written in a very accessible way. However, it is HUGE, at almost 550 pages! I've keep putting it off, so I'm now having to skip some of it to be able to review it.. but I will probably go back at some point. Quote
KW Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 Yes, sometimes those 550 pagers are such HUGE time commitments...like marriage! Quote
