Trying to remember the title of a book

I read a book when I was younger about a secret service of some sort that employed a younger child. It was a whole book series that consisted of around maybey 8 books. The first book had an orange cover and I think had a picture of like a netted globe like the secret intelligence agencies have. Can't remember what it's called, any help is appreciated 😀

thank you anyway but during a frantic last minute Google search to see if I'd missed anything I stumbled across a picture that made me remember and it was the "cherub" series.
