~Andrea~ Posted January 16, 2016 Author Posted January 16, 2016 I finished The Book Thief a few days ago. I loved this book. The writing is wonderful, the characters wonderful but I did think it went on a little too long at the end Quote
Athena Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 I'm glad you liked it . Shame the last part dragged a bit for you. I didn't really notice it myself, I loved the book. I'm glad you like the book though despite the bit at the end dragging. Quote
~Andrea~ Posted January 16, 2016 Author Posted January 16, 2016 It may be partly because it took me so long to read it. Quote
Nollaig Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Glad you enjoyed The Book Thief. Haven't read it myself in a few years but I know I absolutely loved it, so I've been considering re-reading it for a while. Quote
frankie Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 The Book Thief was a really wonderful book, I'm so happy you enjoyed it Quote
~Andrea~ Posted February 4, 2016 Author Posted February 4, 2016 Thanks both. My reading is going well so far this year. I think my mojo is back. I'm loving the Robin Hobb, and managing to read some every day. Quote
~Andrea~ Posted July 8, 2016 Author Posted July 8, 2016 (edited) Well my reading has been rubbish this year. I did finish the Robin Hobb and then started The Beach by Alex Garland (a re-read) but somehow my heart just isn't in it. It's been a bit of a stressy up and down year for me so far, and that hasn't helped my reading, but well, at least life's not boring! Yup just checked - that's two books I've read and we're in July. Awesome Edited July 8, 2016 by ~Andrea~ Quote
Athena Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Awww, I hope you'll be able to read more soon. Sorry it's been a stressful and up and down year for you so far . I hope the second half of the year will be better for you. Quote
bobblybear Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 Oh no, hope you feel better and less stressy soon. It's hard to relax and enjoy a book when your head's not in the right place for it. Quote
