Janet
So, who will be watching The Apprentice in 2015? The Candidates Aisha Kasim - Inventor & hair extensions specialist April Jackson - Boutique owner Brett Butler-Smythe - Builder Charleine Wain - Hair & beauty salon owner Dan Callaghan - Fragrance retailer director David Stevenson - Marketing company owner Elle Stevenson - Operations executive Gary Poulton - Programme manager Jenny Garbis - Business management student Joseph Valente - Plumbing business owner Mergim Butaja - Sales account manager Natalie Dean - Corporate account manager Richard Woods - Marketing agency director Ruth Whiteley - Training consultancy owner Sam Curry - Private tutor Scott Saunders - Senior account manager Selina Waterman-Smith - Events agency owner Vana Koutsomitis - Social media entrepreneur I'm going to miss seeing Nick. I think the right person went tonight - although I quite liked him. He came across well on You're Fired. No Dara this year.
mirandashell
I only saw the last half so don't really know who is who yet. But that squid..... oy. How many were they trying to poison with that? And nine pound for a salad? They'd get that back at high speed! And I like Jack, he has a very dry and subtle sense of humour. But they could have warned us about that mankini....... ~Andrea~
Yes I'm watching. I will miss Dara too. And totally agree about the mankini! Not a pretty sight. I think any of the three could have gone tbh but probably the right person went. I didn't warm to April. She seemed very proud of herself for being able to make decisions. Shame that they weren't very good ones! Brett was so annoying with his rigid approach to the rules. I wonder how they will both develop as the series goes on. Yes Dan was very likeable, alas not particularly capable on this task. I thought it was funny how Ruth advised him to use a hook and not just say "Can I interest you in some salad," but he just didn't change tactic at all! ian
Two episodes in, and that "Can I just throw that thought into the thought pond?" comment is a contender for bulls**t comment of the series! Last nights shampoo task was very good. I actually thought the women's billboard ad was much better than the mens, although for the full advert it was the other way around. I think it's the first time I've seen an ad on Apprentice that looked professional. Of course they are all massive big heads, so for me, the fun is watching them get ripped to shreads by Lord Sugar afterwards.
mirandashell
LOL! Yep that's a contender! Although.... it is early in the series. We may yet get a Pantsman! I'm not sure about YBF yet. I like both Jack and Romesh but they are both alike in their humour. Both grumpy and dry. Maybe too much alike?
bobblybear
I love watching The Apprentice, but it's too soon to tell who is worth watching and who isn't. I find Ruth to be a bit over the top and in your face. Richard comes across like an idiot - who puts that sort of nonsense on their CV?? I couldn't even understand it! Felt so sorry for Scott when he blanked during his presentation. That is the stuff of nightmares!
